Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Gotham Knights Gets Pilot Order

The newest series that was being developed by the CW under the DC umbrella is Gotham Knights. Today, Gotham Knights got a pilot order. The show, helmed by three Batwoman writers - but unreleated to the currently airing show or the upcoming game - will take viewers through Gotham after the death of Bruce Wayne. His son decides to recruit some of the children of Batman's enemies, all of whom are framed for killing Batman. It's an interesting premise, and we are hoping the show gets picked up. Meanwhile, check out the current synopsis for the show:

In the show, in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.
