Three years ago you might have laughed at Aquaman. His presence was felt in Justice League but where Jason Momoa really shined was in James Wan's Aquaman movie! A hero usually on the fringes of pop-culture was catapulted into stardom and the movie went on to earn over $1 billion at the box office! At the WarnerMedia Television Critics Association day, deadline.com discovered the Warner Brothers is once again tapping James Wan's abilities to develop a limited three-part animated mini-series aimed at a child-friendly audience. Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max, had this to say:

This DC property is a fan-favorite, rich with well-known characters and dynamic storylines. On the heels of Warner Bros. Pictures’ box office smash hit, we are certain Aquaman: King of Atlantis will be an exciting addition to our already robust slate of kids and family programming.
