Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Cristin Milioti Joins HBO Max's "The Penguin" Series

Is it us, or has DC just been a whirlwind of breaking news as of late? Granted, while not all of this news has been entirely pleasant, we’re pleased to report that this latest batch is of the good variety. If you’ve been eagerly awaiting The Penguin spinoff of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, then you’ll be happy to note that the production just tagged its new leading lady.

Earlier today, Deadline reported that Cristin Milioti will join The Penguin as the female lead, Sofia Falcone. Falcone is the daughter of Carmine Falcone, and she will rival the Penguin for control of Gotham City. Those familiar with Gotham might remember a version of Sofia Falcone, then portrayed by Crystal Reed.

Not much else is known about The Penguin at this time, but we’re big fans of The Batman and are very excited for this spinoff to come to HBO Max. Let us know your thoughts below and in our forum! Don't forget to follow us on Twitter for breaking news!
