Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

DC Daily is Cancelled

After premiering in 2018 to a resounding success, DC Daily, featuring interviews with well-known DC stars from its TV shows, movies, comics, and more, has been cancelled. With over 400 episodes of exclusive content, previews and insider news, it's hard to see how the show that has become a staple for DC Universe, could be ending. A DC spokesperson had this to say:

After more than 400 episodes, DC Daily will air its final broadcast on Friday, July 3. This year has brought more challenges than the show could overcome. We thank all the fans and talent and hosts for bringing this show to life. It’s been a fun ride.

From the sounds of it, COVID-19 has been more of a challenge than DC Daily could handle. While the show had been airing these past few months with interviews happening from home, it has led to unforseen costs, and ultimately they had to pull the plug. However, there are still some episodes yet to air! The last batch of interviews are yet to come, with a final episode airing on July 3rd.
