Supergirl will be premiering the first part of its final season in a couple of weeks, and while we have very little information thus far on what to expect, we know that episodes 5 & 6 will be flashback episodes, featuring Olivia Nikkanen and Izabela Vidovic as young Alex and young Kara respectively. Also appearing will be a young Cat Grant! Eliza Helm has been tapped for the role, described as:

Eager to step out of Lois Lane's shadow and out from under her boss, Perry White's thumb, Cat chases a story to Kara's hometown of Midvale," reads the official character description. "This lead won't go as planned, but it will put her on the trajectory toward the Media Powerhouse we know and love as Cat Grant.

That definitely puts a spin on things, and we wonder if this will be what leads young Kara to pursue a job at CatCo.
