Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Fadeout Arrow's Final Episode Synopsis

While Arrow's official season run hits eight seasons, you can't help but look at how the decade was defined by The CW's Arrow. After Smallville ended, the future of superhero television was in question. Would DC's successful ten-year journey of Smallville find a successor? It certainly did with Arrow. Not only did Arrow find it's own success, but it spawned what we know today as "The Arrowverse". Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, and Batwoman, not to mention the two new entries Superman and Lois as well as Green Arrow and the Canaries all owe their existence to Arrow. Saying goodbye isn't goint to be easy which is why The CW has provided us a goodbye pre-show to accompany the final episode. First up, "Arrow: Hitting the Bullseye" a celebration before the final episode:

Next, the final episode of Arrow. A show that basically defined the last decade of superhero television. Get your tissues ready, this will be a rough one for many! Check out the final synopsis below:

STEPHEN AMELL SIGNS OFF AS THE GREEN ARROW; EMILY BETT RICKARDS RETURNS FOR THE SERIES FINALE OF “ARROW” – After eight seasons, and the launch of countless superheroes, the series wraps up the story of the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell). Emily Bett Rickards returns as Felicity. James Bamford directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Beth Schwartz (#810). Original airdate 1/28/2020.
