The CW is expanding its slate of live-action superhero shows with Gotham Knights, a series that will center around the adopted son of Bruce Wayne attempting to solve the murder of his surrogate father with the help of the children of Batman’s most famous enemies. Gotham Knights is currently looking to cast several series regulars ahead of an April start of production in Toronto, Canada. According to outside sources, we now have casting breakdowns for the characters that will ultimately lead the show.

Gotham Knights will be looking for an actor, eighteen or older, to fill the role of a series regular that heavily fits the bill of Dick Grayson, the first Robin. Described as “athletic” and “sensitive”, the character remains resilient despite being vulnerable following the murder of his parents and subsequent adoption by Bruce Wayne.

The male lead will also be joined by Stephanie Brown, better known as Spoiler in the comics, who’s described as a genius-level hacker whose father, the Cluemaster, raised her on a “steady diet of brain teasers and puzzles.” The production team is searching for an eighteen-year old actress to portray the “sarcastic and smart” character.

Harper Row, also known as Bluebird, is set to join this new team of superheroes as well. The studio is searching for a female to play a “blue-haired bisexual” character who has taken to the streets to escape her abusive home life. Harper’s younger brother, Cullen, also looks to be cast with searching for a transgender actor who identifies as male for the role.

Gotham Knights will also feature “a quick-witted British attache”, and a character described as the daughter of “the most dangerous man in Gotham”. Going off of these descriptions, we deduce these descriptions to be potentially associated with Julia Pennyworth and Duela Dent, the Joker’s Daughter. There also seems to be a search for someone to play Tiffany Fox, Lucius Fox's daughter. With filming being just around the corner, casting announcements will be on the forefront in the foreseeable future.
