Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Green Lantern Series to Span Decades

Greg Berlanti just can't be stopped! His track record with television shows, especially the comic book-based ones, is simply outstanding! Now the mega producer is turning back to a property that hits close to home. Green Lantern was unfortunately considered a flop at the box office. At the price of $200 million, the return of just $220 quickly ended any future frachise considerations in cinematic form. However, with the terrific success of his television properties, a Green Lantern show is being developed at HBO Max under Berlanti's direction.

Deadline.com was able to learn some new details about the show that are illuminating the scope of this project! HBO Max Head of Original Content, Sarah Aubrey, had this to say about the new show:

It’s going to span several decades and focus on two stories about Green Lanterns on Earth as well as one in space [going into the Sinestro story].

It's anyone's guess who the lanterns will be but if Sinestro is explored, you have to think Hal Jordan will be one of the Green Lanterns. Which Green Lanterns would you like to see on the show?
