HBO Max's Peacemaker Adds Two New Cast Members

HBO Max’s Peacemaker, starring John Cena in the titular role, has announced two new cast members joining the series in recurring roles.

Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson have been cast as a married couple named Amber and Evan in this upcoming spin-off series to James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Araya’s previous credits include roles within Riverdale, Julie and the Phantoms, and another DC Comics property, Arrow.

Jacobson previously starred in Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico, and is currently starring on Apple TV’s For All Mankind. Jacobson has also starred in other productions such as Bumblebee, Nurse Jackie, and Like Father.

They will join previously announced series lead, John Cena, as well as series regulars such as Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Chris Conrad, Robert Patrick, and Chukwudi Iwuji. HBO Max’s Peacemaker is expected to be released sometime after the release of The Suicide Squad on August 6, 2021.
