Another well-known celebrity is making his jump to the DC universe with Stargirl! Jim Gaffigan, a stand-up comic known for his titular role on The Jim Gaffigan show, has been cast to voice Thunderbolt, who will be a heavily CGI-based character. Thunderbolt is described as “a wish-granting magical Jinn from the mysterious land of Bahdnesia”, and was previously associated with the old Justice Society of America. According to sources as well, it was hinted that Courtney's younger stepbrother, Mike Dugan, would potentially be the one to let this genie out of his “magic lamp”.
