Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

"Justice U" Series in the Works at The CW

A new series set within the Arrowverse may be on the horizon as one of the oldest faces from this expansive television universe will get the chance to have his own show, along with a few new faces to boot.

According to Deadline, David Ramsey, best known for playing John Diggle on Arrow, is set to headline a new show tentatively titled "Justice U". The show will reportedly center around Diggle embarking on a new mission to recruit five young metahumans to live undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. The established, seasoned co-founder of Team Arrow will also oversee their education, and train them to become the next great heroes of the future.

In addition to starring in the series, Ramsey will also direct the pilot if the show is picked up by executives at The CW. The series will be produced by Michael Narducci and Zoanne Clack, with the former already executive producing Superman and Lois. Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, David Madden, and Sarah Schechter will also produce the series if given a full-season order.
