Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Naomi Show Gets Pilot Order

Last December, we learned that the CW was looking into making a show with Naomi, helmed by Ava DuVernay, the well-known director and producer who is currently working on the New Gods DC movie. Today, we learned that the CW has ordered a pilot for the show. This is great news for the new hero, who was created in 2019 by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker, as it's opening the door for the CW to be the home for a slate of younger, more diverse heroes, as shown by Stargirl's success, as well as the potential Wonder Girl show featuring Yara.

All that we know of the show thus far is that it will be produced by Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship, and will focus on Naomi after a supernatural event rocks her hometown, and she sets off to find out the origin of the event. We'll have more details as soon as they're released!
