With just a few days to go until the series premiere of Peacemaker, we’ve been eagerly counting down until we get to see HBO Max’s latest DC hit. After the success of The Suicide Squad, fans have been clamoring to see more of Peacemaker and his raunchy sense of bringing peace to the world. While we still have a little longer to wait, to keep the hype building, we have several preview images from the first three episodes to share as well as the character posters! 

While we don’t know too much about the plot yet, Peacekeeper will explore its titular character— “a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it”. The show, written and partly directed by the legendary James Gunn (The Suicide Squad, Guardians of the Galaxy), stars John Cena as Peacemaker.

Peacemaker will also feature Jennifer Holland and Steve Agee (reprising their The Suicide Squad roles as ARGUS agent Emilia Harcourt and aide John Economos), Danielle Brooks as ARGUS recruit Leota Adebayo, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn; and Robert Patrick as Peacemaker aka Chris Smith’s dad, Auggie.

Peacekeeper will officially premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 with the first three episodes. Weekly episode releases will follow afterwards.
