Familial pressures are rising in Smallville as the sixth episode of Superman and Lois season two, titled “Tried and True”, now has a synopsis that reveals what's to come for this upcoming episode. Lois and her partner, Chrissy, attempt to look more into the mysterious “Inverse Society”, while the Lang-Cushing women attempt to comfort each other after a disastrous party. Meanwhile, Jonathan’s dirty little secret might be out as Jordan discovers something alarming in his backpack. Rounding out this synopsis is Lieutenant Anderson landing in hot water over the Department of Defense's fractured relationship with the last son of Krypton. AMY JO JOHNSON (“FELICITY”) DIRECTS – Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) tells Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) that she and Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) plan to do a deeper dive into the Inverse Society and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) try to comfort each other after the fallout at Sarah’s quinceañera. Meanwhile, Jordan (Alex Garfin) notices something suspicious in Jonathan’s (Jordan Elsass) book bag. Lastly, Lt. Mitch Anderson (guest star Ian Bohen “Teen Wolf”) finds himself under fire for the deterioration of the department of defense’s relationship with Superman.
