Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

The CW Issues Early Renewals for Arrowverse Shows

Today, the CW announced it would be renewing a slate of their shows. The Flash, which is coming up to be the longest-running show within the Arrowverse, has been renewed for Season 8, and Batwoman for Season 3. Even the Legends of Tomorrow, whose new season has yet to get a premiere date, has been renewed for Season 7. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois, set to premiere on February 23rd, has been granted two more episodes, bringing the episode count to 15 for its first season. Although there's no word on its renewal as of yet, we're confident that it will be soon joining the rest of the Arrowverse shows with a second season.

We're sure it's a relief to many fans, considering that the cancellation of Supergirl and Black Lightning was sowing doubt towards the future for the Arrowverse. But it's clear that things are strong as ever, and our favorite heroes will continue gracing our screens.
