We're heading back to Freeland after that brief visit to check in on Khalil in Akashic Valley. It had a different feel than Black Lightning, and I'm intrigued to see where it goes if the pilot is picked up, but only time will tell. Meanwhile, the gallery doesn't give us much to go on, notable is that these images seem to all be taking place together. From what we can piece together, Anissa brings Grace to the Pierce family home for their wedding celebration - probably the surprise mentioned in the synopsis - but the FBI descends on them, also from our understanding of the synopsis. With BL ending, it would be nice if Grace and Nissa can pop up on other Arrowverse shows. It would mean them traveling to Vancouver in most cases, but fingers crossed we can see more of them after BL ends. Grace's brother Ryan is one of the Paragon, so having him in the mix will be fun... Legends are you listening?
