When it comes to the Arrowverse on The CW, the network seems to have the most confidence and excitement for Superman and Lois. A good honorable mention is Stargirl going into it's second season solely at The CW now, but for the time being, Stargirl isn't really an Arrowverse show, or to be stated more acturately, not an Earth Prime show. That excitement is shared by the networks straight-to-series order of the show! We've recently seen the new look for Kal-El sporting a much higher quality and somewhat beefier suit. Today, amid the holidays, The CW shared a brief teaser trailer for the coming show. Not much live action scenes are shown, in fact, much like their sister show Batwoman, it looks like the CW is making custom teasers for the show. The 50 second preview featured Kal-El aka Superman speaking of the troubles of change and the necessary growth to become a better version of yourself. There is a symbolic gesture to bring back the shattered pieces of his Earth family by evolving into the Superman we've seen in the new uniform.
What does this mean for the young Kent family? Will the show introduce a troubled pair of siblings to the Man of Steel and his wife Lois? As a reminder check out this official series synopsis below:
Superman & Lois finds the couple returning to Smallville to handle some Kent family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang, a local loan officer who also happens to be Clark's first love, and her Fire Chief husband Kyle Cushing. The adults aren't the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle's rebellious daughter, Sarah. There's never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois' father, General Samuel Lane looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment's notice. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois' return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger enters their lives.

From what we're seeing, its looking like The CW is creating a brand new tent pole for their phase two Arrowverse. While The Flash has continued to be in the number one pole position, the network is going to need a replacement since Arrow and now Supergirl are ending. Superman and Lois look to be that show!

I just read that Flash season 7 premiere has been pushed back confirming a 2 hour premiere for Superman & Lois. I think this will help its premiere numbers and CW viewership typically drops in the second hour.
