Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

The Flash “Armageddon, Part 5” Synopsis

The CW has released an official synopsis for the fifth and final part to "Armageddon", the annual Arrowverse crossover event that's headlined in The Flash by a variety of well-known characters like the Atom, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and so many more!

The synopsis teases the return of Mia Queen, the daughter of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak, who now has the mantle of the Green Arrow from her father. The culmination of the battle between Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne is also hinted at, but with ramifications that could prove to be much more immense than expected. With the inclusion of Mia looking to stop at nothing to save a loved one who’s unfortunately passed, Team Flash and their superfriends must do whatever it takes to save the day and bring their fantastical realities back to normalcy.

THE RETURN OF MIA QUEEN – The conclusion to Armageddon presents an opportunity for The Flash (Grant Gustin) to end his lifelong battle with Reverse Flash (guest star Tom Cavanagh) for good, but the payoff could be too much for Barry and team to handle. Meanwhile, Mia Queen (guest star Katherine McNamara) drops in from the future looking to save a lost loved one, and she won’t let anything stand in her way. Menhaj Huda directed the episode written by Kristen Kim (#805). Original airdate 12/14/2021.

Part 4 kind if felt like the conclusion until Wells popped up at the end. I can see them giving Tom a bigger part but part 4 was an odd way to build up to the finale. I really have been disappointed, yet not at all surprised as the Flash has been on a down hill trajectory since Crisis. I think Mia and the Canaries would have been better served as part of a Legends episode that essentially could have served as a follow up to that backdoor pilot that left poor William hanging in the balance.
