Fans of Central City’s fastest man alive will have to wait a little longer for Barry Allen and his friends to return to our screens. The triumphant return of The Flash and its originally scheduled return has now been preempted from the initial release date. The reasoning behind this is due to an exciting “premiere event” for the next installment to the already lucrative Arrowverse, Superman & Lois.
The Flash was set to return with its seventh season on Tuesday, Feb. 23, which ultimately would’ve led into the series premiere of Superman & Lois. However, the series starring the Man of Steel and his wife will be the only Arrowverse series that night, with a “two-hour premiere event” that pairs the ninety-minute episode with a special titled Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope.
The special will feature both interviews from the cast and crew, and exclusive sneak peeks of the new series. Not only that, but there will also be undisclosed guest appearances by major figures in the world of Superman discussing this iconic character. The Flash will now launch its latest season on Tuesday, March 2.
