Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Watchmen Nominated for Peabody Award

Today, straight out of Los Angeles, HBO received 7 Peabody Award nominations this year, the most of any cable network or streaming platform and the most nominations in the Entertainment category. It is an impressive feat to accomplish but to do so with a comic book based property really says something to the quality of that show. Of course, we are talking about Watchmen! The unique reimagination of a once heavy routed alternate history story from Viet Nam onward got a modern day take in ten limited episodes. Fans were left wanting when the show's creator decided not to move on to a second season. That said, this Peabody award nomination speaks to the well thought out and perfectly planned reimagination. Congratulations to everyone on The Watchmen!

Yes, congratulations....

Its such a shame they left the show like they did... the producers say they told the story they wanted to tell but it was in no way a complete story for viewers.
