Warner Brothers and ViacomCBS are shopping around the idea of selling The CW. What this means for all the DCTV properties is uncertain.

Wolé Parks Cast as "The Stranger" on Superman & Lois

As they say in show business, the show must go on! Despite all television production being halted due to the coronavirus, Superman and Lois has beeing given a straight to series order by the CW and that means you have to keep the show moving. We've seen many casting choices for the show recently including a recast for the role of Sam Lane. We say recast because Sam Lane has already appeared on Supergirl played by Glenn Moshower in season 1. Today, despite the quarantine, according to deadline.com, showrunners have found their big bad for the first season! The part of "The Stranger" has gone to Wolé Parks. Parks has had a few roles but we remember him from season 2 of NBC's "Superstore". The Stranger is described as:

The Stranger is a mysterious visitor hellbent on proving to the world that it no longer needs Superman.

This premise of the world no longer needing Superman sounds pretty facsinating to us! Is he another Kryptonian? Alien from a race we haven't seen yet in the Arrowverse? Let us know your thoughts below and in our forum! Don't forget to follow us on Twitter for breaking news!!

I can see him being a variation of The Phantom Stranger as I suspect there is little to no DCEU interest in that particular character. This may permit Berlanti's team to take the character wherever they want without too many restrictions. Although, he is not so much a villian in the comics, Arrowverse may take a different route with the character. Then again, perhaps he is a totally new character altogether.

Note: I am still curious if/how John Diggle fits into Metropolis.
