We believe that everyone understands the very strange circumstances in which our favorite shows have been affected due to this quarantine mandate. So while we wouldn't normally be thinking that this is the kind of episode we would end a season on, we can understand that simply is how it has to be and we can look forward to next season for more resolution! The synopsis doesn't say a whole lot but the title does hint at possibly getting Iris out of the Mirrorverse, "Success Is Assured". Ralph, ever the hero, tries to convince Sue not to make a grave mistake and Barry crafts a risky plan at getting Iris out. Read the full synopsis below:
“THE FLASH” SEASON FINALE – Barry (Grant Gustin) considers a risky plan to save Iris (Candice Patton) from the Mirrorverse. Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) attempts to stop Sue (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss) from making a grave mistake that could destroy her life. Phil Chipera directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Barnett (#619). Original airdate 5/12/2020.

Covid-19 has reshaped how our world functions on many different levels. The need for social distancing simply means that television shows can't be created safely right now. Grinding a whole industry to a halt that had a predetermined schedule puts a lot of people at risk for some kind of financial disaster. WarnerMedia offered to continue paying some of the staff that had their shows cut short. In an effort to continue that support, Arrowverse creator and famed television producer, Greg Berlanti has donated $1 Million of his own money to help the staff of Berlanti Productions as well as others in the filming industry. Berlanti Productions employs over 5,000 people. $600,000 of the donation is going straight into an account that employees can reach out to for needed support. The first to be eligible for this support are those working on shows that were cut short. This includes:
Batwoman Doom Patrol The Flash Riverdale The Flight Attendant Supergirl Prodigal Son
After more time has passed and better estimates on when the industry can begin work again, the fund will be made available to the other Berlanti Production shows; All American, Black Lightning, The Girls On The Bus, Katy Keene, Legends of Tomorrow, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Stargirl, Superman & Lois, Titans and You. The other $400,000 is going to "The Motion Picture Television Emergency Relief Fund, The SAG-AFTRA COVID-19 Disaster Fund and The Actors Fund" to aide those in the industry but not necessarily in Berlanti Productions.
This level of generosity really speaks to the quality of Greg Berlanti and his family. A producer who is really looking to take care of his own and the industry in which he works provides hope that this quarantine time will end and there is still good television to be made. With yet another wacky Legends ep, it seems that things will be changing a bit. Lita is going for a ride on the Waverider, and from Sara's reaction to that, and to Gary's dog, it seems that despite the more serious nature of the episode from the looks of the synopsis and the images, they'll be handling it with typical Legends humor and pacing. Though from the looks of it, Lita isn't too impressed with Rory's contributions to the team. Check out the trailer below:

What an episode! Now we must get ready for next week's episode, with Godspeed, with Barry's running out of time and speed. Although the trailer doesn't give us much to go on, it does seem like it will be violent, if Nash's comment is anything to go by. And Cisco sounds worried for his friend, who can't seem to get up to Godspeed's level, and is clearly frustrated, but Barry won't miss an opportunity to try. Check out the trailer below:

The Flash's adventures continue! While we wait for tonight's episode, we've already got next week's gallery ready for you. Between the synopsis and the episode's gallery, we're clearly looking at what will probably be a highly crucial episode, as we don't have a lot to go on, which means that anything else would be very spoiler-y. From what we do have, we are wondering who is in the box, and why. Check out the gallery for Pay The Piper below:
